for over a year now i'm doing some things with adjusting timing and resetting idle rpm..
I am using Nissan Datascan I in combination with a Equus timing gun to set the ignition timing (by turning the distributor) after setting the idle rpm om the trottle body. This al under the ECU's timing mode set bij Nissan Data Scan..
Now i am wondering about the OBDII versions. I will need Nissan Datascan II + OBD II cable to run out the ECU and looking for faults. But What about setting the iginion timing and idle rpm?
Do i need the same timing gun? how can i adjust the timing on that base (coil pack) of engine?
