ad18v calipers

Was at a wrecker today saw a jap micra with "18v" stamp on the front calipers but from all the pic i saw on forum and net shouldnt it be "ad18v" stamp on it?

Don't quote me on it but I'm pretty sure its the same, unless I'm mistaking what Dens has ripped me up for asking about before haha.

Either way sum1 will correct me again if I'm wrong (again)
