» CMF Memberfair few to tap into, i normally tap into the cigarette lighter circuit, since it is part of the accessories circuit.
if its for your screen, should be fine as its only used as the 'switch' to turn the screen on, but don't go putting loads on it, usually only has a 10amp fuse

have a look at your cigarette lighter, trace the wire back if you can to the fuse.
Failing that, I just splice into the cigarette lighter circuit and earth out to the chassis, much easier
I've made up proper fuse circuits that switch with accessories trigger to handle high amp loads, see the link here:
