Access to Heater/AC light bulbs

Hi all,

I've been looking around the forum for instructions on how to remove the heater/ac light bulbs as one of them seems to have died.

I removed everything successfully until I get to the block that has the heater/ac controls. I have very little access to the rear as the various wires and cables don't allow me to pull it out for an easier access.

Anyone got any tips or pictures to show the correct way?

And can you guys confirm that the bulbs are normal W5W bulbs?

Iirc you need to remove the control knobs and carefully peel the facia off and the bulbs will be behind it

thanks, It seems to be the only plausible way without disconnecting everything from the rear :doh:

any ideas on what bulbs they are?

They are 501 capless bulbs same as the side light bulbs. and karl is spot on just pull knobs off and carefully pull off plastic.

thanks, I checked the code out and they are the same bulbs as the license plate and position light bulbs... W5W (Y)

I'll try to change them today and post some images when done
