Abs light

Just put a replacement drum on rear passenger hub and the abs light switched on. Any ideas why please? Many thanks

best to check the sensor for damage or debris chris

Brill thanks. Will have a look tomorrow. The replacement drum needs new bearing,was half debating whether to wait and jus get all seen to one time,but its brakes,cant be too careful with them eh!

Turned out the end of ne sensor is damaged,had to order a new one.

Most new drums come without the abs ring that pushes on around where the bearing is on the inside. Did you swap the abs ring over ( sorry for stating the obvious but it's not a toothed ring like on a passive abs, its a smooth ring as its active abs sensors)

It was a used one off a clio dci,took the drum off to clean the sensor and the sensor itself is damaged
