A throttle body question with a difference

I'm on the verge of the throttle body resolder repair but have one small problem.
I can't find Silastic Automotive silicone anywhere, so is there an alternative?
I was told that any decent Kitchen sealent would work, but thought i'd better check first.

I just used bog standard silicone, seems to work fine.

Id use anything with "Marine Sealant" written on it. you want a really tight water free cover over it all. Dont be shy with it!
