600rpm idle

today i've noticed that the micra's idle has dropped to only 600rpm at best and sometimes the car almost stalls. I've checked the air filter and all is fine, its not missing or hunting for air. I was thinking it could be a problem with the choke or is there an idle control screw on em?

your AAC at Throt body might need to be cleaned, or, see other posts that a member solver this inssue...

Or you MAF could be on the way out. This is one symptom. Had any truble with missing or stalling or hard starting?
There is an idel adjustment screw, but I forget the procedure, it's not just turn the screw.

If this happens when the car is half ewarmed up, it might be hte temperature sensor. Check the fault codes.

My car now idles at approx 600rpm when cold, I don't think the temperature sensor is in existence any more.

Need to get that fixed. Its a bit annoying. Only done this since the new higher capacity injectors and fuel rail were installed, but the idle used to be too high before that.

When its warm though, it idles perfectly, approx 900rpm or something.

the idle speed of your engine is 750. you need a consult to set the rpm correct.
