I've had this issue before - but my airbag warning light is flashing. When it happened the first time I took it to a Nissan specialist and they reset it at a cost of £40. When it happened again I did a thing with the key in the ignition to reset it and it worked fine, the light went off (turn the key on and off a few times to get it into diagnostic mode, then turn it back off to reset it). This time it isn't working.
Would this suggest there is an actual problem? Anyone got any other tips/ways to reset it and turn it off? I really don't want to go back and pay £40 for 2 minutes worth of diagnostics, especially when there's almost certainly nothing wrong, given how all Micras seem to do this.
