Few noob questions i suppose but i am new to this scene so here goes..
1997 K11 Micra GX
What car do these come off? Super S?
Also is there anything else needed for this mod?
Whats this airbox upgrade people do? i have a cone filter on mine atm...

They don't come standard on micras I'm afraid. An aftermarket part. Mines a janspeed one.

Can search for a second hand one. Scrappers etc or buy new from matt humpris (google)

And no other mods apart from New exhaust gaskets and swapping over existing lambda sensor. Airbox used are mainly n15 almera/primera

it's better than a cone/mushroom filter, less heat soak

Does it still give the deep low end grunt?

what about ga16 airbox? are they better than cone & mushroom air filter?

the ga16 airbox is the one we're on about the only thing you really get from cone/mushroom filters is noise

I get an almost whistle sound from mine @5k sounds ace. But could more than likely be the cold air feed.

only with supporting mods, have a search around it's been covered numerous times

It goes down then above the gearbox and ends behind the grill

and its just big samco type piping?

Yeh its called neoprene hose. 70mm

Diameter 70mm ....I think they sell by the metre. So I got 70mm x 1m
