Bought a K12 with a intermittent start problem, gave it a scan and got a P0340 camsensor problem. I checked power and earth to the sensor and gave the sensor and connections a clean, cleared the code. Still got the same problem but the code aint returned, Tried a new sensor same problem still no code. I checked the crank sensor in case the cam sensor code was a knock on code, i found unplugging the crank sensor and the car starts perfect everytime and runs sweet, replaced the crank sensor and still no start but again starts perfect with it unplugged. There's no chain rattle and it runs and sounds fine (when the crank sensor's unplugged). Any ideas or info would be greatly appreciated.
