2003 Micra k12 1.2 throttle motor relay

Hi,

Have a 2003 micra 1.2 which was laying unused for 5 months. wouldn't start - been diagnosed as a faulty ecu which I have sent to ecu doctor in Plymouth. They have told me the ecu was damaged by a throttle motor relay - any idea where this relay is and where I can source a new one? Rang nissan and they were totally useless to say the least. I need to replace the faulty throttle motor relay before putting the ecu back in or the ecu will be damaged again.

Its in the ipdm. Under nsf headlamp. I think if memory serves me will its part of the ipdm and not one of the ten relays you can change.

So it requires a new ipdm? Does that have to be programmed by nissan then? I've already paid £300 for a new battery, a few blown fuses and an ecu repair. Great lol

Let me check on the manuals at work today. Some ipdms required coding some didnt.

If you send me your chassis number but dont put the last 4 digits i can check for you. Where abouts are you?

Had new ipdm fitted and coded at nissan part was 135 plus vat, total repair cost £245. Car is back on the road again

Also airbag light just came on as I drove it home from nissan but little ignition trick turned it back off thankfully

Just needs two new rear tyres and an mot now
