2002 AstraVan??????

I'm thinking of buying a 2002 astra van 1.7dti 1owner Fsh and 120k on it for 1750pound. . .have a lend of it for a few days too make up my mind,but anyone on here know bout them, as in ,do they give any trouble enginewise etc?

120k is nothing, a mate of mines got an astra hatch with the same engine used for take away deliverys not sure of the millage but is never goes wrong.
I think these are isuzu engines, so jap realiablity too.

Yeah its the old 'non-common rail' izuzu based engine, so more basic and more likely to be reliable than the modern fiat bought CDTi engines

120k, barely run in for a diesel

we have two of those vans here at work and they are well over 210K, strong engines

Cheers Lads Ive bought it anyway feels like a good solid van,came from bristol mate of mine brings some stuff over to Ireland.
I've managed to insure the van and the st,I never realised I could do that thought I have to sell the st cuz I be primarily using the van. . .tink I'll keep her for a bit of messing every once and a while:devil:
