Hi
I have recently bought a 2001 Nissan Micra 1.4 s automatic with 68,000 miles on the clock. It drives very well but i have noticed that when you pull up with the engine running it seems to make a slight noise which stops if you put it in Neutral also it does n,t seem to want to go past 65-75mph its as though it needs another gear.
I have read about all the problems with auto boxes N-CVT etc but i think mine will be the H-CVT accordind to what i have read, whats the difference? does it suffer from the same problems?
The shift is very smooth and there is no light coming on the dash, any answers would gatefully received only i have serviced the car and noticed the crossmember needs replacing which my mate can do and i thought get the auto box oil/filter changed as well but dont want to waste money if the box is knacked etc
Regards Bevan
