2000 Micra blower not very fast?

The blower hardly blows at all. any ideas would be most welcome.
I can hear it working at 1,2 and 3 speed but only feel anything on 4 but even then its not much in the way of blowing.

its not the resistor card, i have taken that out and all is fine. The blower is working on all settings but its just not very strong. Its my mums car and she said it used to blow much more before.

Hi Gav,
The problem is probably your pollen filter is blocked. Unfortunately, some of the other forum members are convinced it's the resistor card. If your fan speeds operates then it's NOT the resistor card.

A mechanic diagnosed this and repaired same after I did not get the solution from forum. However, the forum has helped resolve other issues.

Look up the forums that show how to change this. I found it hard to believe my micra had one, but it does and it was so dirty the light couldn't shine through it. Now it's changed, I have a decent flow of air through vents with better temeratures.

Also can be dirt an grime in the fan blades them selves. Either way I would bet it's the filter or fan and not the resistor cars as the fan works on all speeds

It aren't the resistor card... If it was it'll either take a longer to achieve setting speed or not at all. But not slower than b4, trust me I played, modified, used one off a pulsar, even the electrician at work had a go as well lol....funny memories
Still ended up buying a new one :b

With yours Im guessing faulty, corroded connection, bad earth??
