Hi I've got a 2000 1.0L micra that's developed a small problem
The check engine light came on the other week. I've got my own code reader and found P0115 and P0120, Coolant temp sensor and TPS.
Firstly I replaced the throttle position sensor then just plugged the new coolant temp sensor in. Cleared the codes but on startup the codes appeared again. The only thing I've noticed is the temp sesor supplied is a different colour to the one fitted to the car. The sensor fitted is grey and the new one is red. Would this matter?
I've had a look at a basic wiring diagram and the two sensors are linked
Has anyone come across this problem before? Any advice would be great
