15 Inch Wheels

anyone with 15's how much space is there between the tyre side wall and the arches front and rear? because ive got some 15's (gave £20 which is scrap price) but they are only et20 offset so they will be 18mm closer to the arches than the normal et38 wheels that most people on here buy. cheers in advance.

et20 will stick out further than the normal et38, so you should be alright for clearance.

yep i thought that too but will wheel arch clearance be an issue? just want to know before i refurb them and buy tyres

You could put 15's on and lower it and the arch clearance shouldnt be an issue

even with et20 wheels which will be 18mm closer to the arches (further out from the hub) than the normal et38 micra fitment wheels?

unless it's lowered more than 35mm, i'd say you should be alright, but it's your car and your risk. lol
also if the tyres petrude from the arch, it'll be an mot failure.

i put et 25 on mine and it used to scrub over big bumps and it wasnt even lowered

just over big bumps? if so i can roll the arches no sweat. and was it just the back that rubbed?

yeah it was just the back that scrubbed, not sure about the arch rolling as i never got round to doing it. It would be severly reduced if not gone tI would have thought it would cure it though

cheers with the help mate i will refurb and fit them now cuz i know it wont be TOO bad
