1.3 Reprofiled Cams

Just a quick question will re-profiled cams from a 1.3 CG13DE fit in a 1.4 CGA3DE engine.

Thats good have a set. Was ready to fit them to my 1.0L which has been written-off.

matt,s rally cams are usually cut from blanks, so direct fit reprofiles need custom shims to suit eh

I have been told that I wouldn't need shims for the cg10de I dont know a bout the new one. I have e-mail Matt about it anyway. The 773 rally ones are nice but quite expensive.

Bit of a thread hi-jack but I'd love to know of people's experiences with matt's 773 cams? I'm still undecided on the route to take.

If you use reprofiled cams you can fit the K12 valves which are the same size but are 2mm longer enabling you to fit the standard shims.
I know someone who has changed the 773's because they didnt have much go . Will know what his second choice will be like after the weekends dyno session.

think vic's gone for 773 cams and we're going for a dyno together somepoint next month or so.

Will report back on the differences with a mods list for the 1.4 and my 1.0l

I plan to get the timing chain change when I get the new cams fitted. Was wondering is this timing chain kit any good:

its got the victor reinz sealant eh vic (oem headgasket supplier) looks legit to me

FAI parts any good only products of theirs I have used is the exhaust manifold gaskets.
