So I've bought one Micra K11 CVT with 1.0 engine for my wife and soon the gearbox died.
I loved how it drove so I decided to get a second Micra, 1.0, with a manual gearbox for obvious reasons.
Not that long after that I found a bargain 1.3 Micra so I decided to get that one as well and swap the engine in the CVT one.
I also read that 1.o gearbox is shorter and the driveshafts weigh less so I decided to:
Put 1.3 engine with 1.o flywheel, 1.o pressure plate, 1.o clutch, 1.o driveshafts and 1.o gearbox, 1.0 gearbox linkage. I found out that all of those parts were different from 1.3 to 1.0 so I changed them all.
I did the swap but I am having clutch slip.
Is the 1.o clutch not good enough for the increase of power? I thought a few hp more wouldn't matter.
Do you have recommendations on what clutch should I use ?
