1.3 Engine idle speed ------------

Hi guys, would like to know where should the needle be when the car is idleing? think mines too low, below is a pic of the rev counter if someone could point where need le should be pleese...

i cant see the picture so dont know what it says but mine fast idles at about 1200 rpm and slow idles at about 750rpm

yep 750rpm is just above the 2nd marker

Hi pollyp, when you mean the second marker, you mean the second marker under the under the 1 ? as in the picture below or the line below that?

ooooh, my cars idle is in between the the 2nd and 3rd marker (halfway) !!!.....mmmmmmm cheers pollyp ill have to up the idle, thought it was running little low e.t.c.
