1.3 cams in a 1.0

I heard there a straight fit, And help a little with engine response, I could prob get a cheap set at scrappys, Ya think they would be worth replacing the standard 1.0l cams with the 1.3l cams?

First thing is use the search function, a few member have already done this, second is, only difference from the 1.0 to 1.3 is rods pistons cams and crank, iirc.

I did search but couldnt get a straight answer, Is it that hard to answer a question on this forum without someone giving you #### about searching

yes they do fit. And may help mid-range, they should be a half decent modification.

However, you will still need to measure your valve clearances,and then you may or may not need new shims.

With the risk of sounding completely pedantic, is it that bad to suggest the use of the forum searching function without someone giving 'needless ####' about being told to do so?

A simple clarification that you were unable to find any info would have sufficed.......thankfully Alienfish has kindly answered the question for you.

Just to confirm, 1.3 cams work well in the 1.0 and stand a good chance of being within the recommended valve clearance range to fit without new shims, however it's always recommended that they are checked to avoid possible problems.

Right first off you aint surched thatmuch as i done a quick search 1.3 cam in the search bar took me 5 mins to read through and i found the following and i only went to the 6th page!!
Second im not ignorant, just trying to help because i know i have read up on 1.3 cam swap ectand found out you can by using the links below but oviously im wrong and the link below dont exist to anyone else but my self......NOT

Well in future i suggest you search properly and once you still cant make heads of the info ask and say what you have found and what your not sure about. People on this forum dont mind helping people who help themselves, the reason i said use the search tool is because i knew the info was there.
