1.0 Sport Rev Limiter

I have 2 totally stock k11's; a 2001 1.0 Sport which has the 4 coils and a 1999 1.0 celebration which has a distributor and ht leads.
The 2001 seems to have more power but the rev limiter activates just when you know the engine wants to keep going that little bit more. When it kicks in the engine is still pulling like a train, when the limiter activates you are thrown forward.
The 1999 revs a little higher and the power weakens just as it reaches its limit.
I am aware of the distributor mod but can not find any info on deactivating the rev limiter on the later K11's

You can't deactivate it on the coilpack models. It's ecu controlled. Only way is to replace the ecu with an Omex or equivalent and remap.
