1.0 coilpack 1.3 bottom

Im wanting to put a 1.3 prefacelift engine block with the 1.0 coilpack head and flywheel. Are there any problems with doing this? Would i have to get a new head gasket?and head bolts? Anything i should do with the engine out?

your coilpack middle sprocket mate, it has a stump fitted to trigger the cam sensor, and yes on the cams

Nice. I suppose i should pressure test the 1.3 before to make sure rings are good,yeah? Is the flywheel dificult to remove? Any thing i can improve while im taking engine apart?

all my 1.3,s had good compression, but some drank oil and suffered crankpin wear too
you need to drill and dowel the crank too btw (6 bolts and a dowel at 12 o,clock)

the f/w is hubcentric, and there is about .5mm clearance around the 6 bolts, so the dowel ensures that the crank sensor is precisely tdc

So ill have to cut that perfectly then. Has it been done before? Could i use the 1.0 crank?
