Mounting an sr16ve to a k11 micra, so far it's all plain sailing but need help with regards to engine and gearbox mounts, sr20 is the same block and mounts the same so if any sr20 build could show me mount modifications needed it would be appreciated! Also, anybody know of a lower ball joint...

Any progress here? I'm currently starting the same build a 98 k11 to be fitted with sr16 and all running gear, have a full pulsar there for donor parts

Exactly! Sure ever culchie and his cousin have a corolla like theyre overdone and i hate them tbh but i dont give them hassle, its more the people driving thats the problem, us micra drivers are too sound!

Ah ya need to spend a lot of time and find the right one, they are a bottomless pit of wasted money if your starting from standard but if ya buy cheap and fix up a modded one ya can get a great car.... im going to see one with a 6 point custom rollcage, brand new race spec coilovers put on two...

Glanza v with a td04 turbo is the plan so ill probably get a near standard ine and do the turbo kit and ecu amd all myself :) cant wait, i was toying with the idea of turboing the micra and do big engine work but a mate put 5000 into his micra making it 1.3 turbo and it ended up being nowhere...

I tied to the tow hook and found a few spots where i could put a cable tie in, would be better to drill holes though it took me a stupid amount of time just to find spots to put them

Its actaully better i reckon to cable tie anything other than the ends cos it can just split a tie then if ya rub rather than crack your splitter if its screwed.... mine just tucked up under and git a bit of scraping...

Yup absolute c@nt of a yoke we nearly ripped the shocks out of my cousins impreza on it, ****ing eejit jammed on the brakes as he hit it..... should try the backroad from ashford to kiloughter house, i hit a rough spot at 110 literally like a faminr road full of potholes, had been perfect tarmac...

It is yeah, love the backroads down that way from millionaires row in wicklow down past jacks hole and all that to arklow :D even better when ya take it from bray too!!

Quick post, havent done much lately except some red led park lights and a few cleans cos of college work but got out for a little backroad cruise last weekend ;)
