Think it depends what you want to use the car for and how long you'll have it - I've only ever used Micra-specific suspension mods so can't really give much of a comparison between the two, but in general terms you really get what you pay for with coilovers
Welcome, like the berry colour - on conversions the 1.4 isn't a straight swap as the heads are different (coilpack vs dizzy) so you're looking at a 1.3 (straight swap) or something larger and more work...
The black underbonnet is pretty smart, like that - is it a satin?
Re the polycarb windows - how is the 3mm - is it rigid enough? I measured my Humphris set - they're 4mm which is (relatively) a fair bit thicker?

Haynes says a green/black and a green/yellow wire will do left and right respectively - presumably the kit ha sa diode to prevent current flowing back?
From memory they go down the A-pillars and drain behind the wheel liner into the front arches - there is a rubber hose that doe this, I think they can get blocked so leak at the connection to the sunroof
I believe the new MOT system tells the tester if one was fitted from the factory and if it's not present it's a fail, not sure of the logic behind it but caught me out a few years ago.
I couldn't quite get my head around how light those tailgates are, I presume you'll by fitting a poly rear screen too? I've been meaning to ask, what are the front wings you've got, GRP versions also?
