    PollyMobiles Rebuild

I'd agree that I'd be very careful changing much on a performance orientated car such as a porsche, if I was looking to modify for increased performance (if I were looking for increased drivability then there might be things to tweak but I doubt it). Sadly or not? that's not the case with the...

Looks similar to a 'Devil wing' a google search came up with one from Gizfab called "Osaka Devil wing"

Quaife Diff may be available for micra gearbox soon...

I've always wanted a LSD diff for my CG13DE gearbox, but was put off the Gripper by the amount of maintenance and setup that generally seemed to be required. After much searching through Quaife's online drawings and measuring a standard diff I've found that the diff they make for the Almera /...

    Skinners Sprint Micra

In that case ignore the stuff I said about scrub radius and steering axis, it may even improve things by pushing the point outwards closer to the wheel centre line. So what do the blocks do? you'd get the wider track with just the wider wishbones, with increased negative camber as a bonus (just...

    Skinners Sprint Micra

Sorry, my head has mini suspension loaded into it, I just poked my head under the micra. I don't think these by themselves would effect the steering axis or scrub radius as steering axis is described by the top centre of the strut and the bottom ball joint, neither of which has moved. If your...

    Radiator fan wiring issues

It's not in the Haynes, it's part of the factory manuals wiring diagram.

    Radiator fan wiring issues

Strangely enough, yes (I though you were being funny first time I saw your drawing) there's two points on the relay fed from the 25A fan fuse, so the green wire branches just before the relay. Below is the Non Nats version

    Radiator fan wiring issues

The fan is on a relay so the power feed is going to come from the fuse board the relay earth wire is from the ECU. R/W (red/white) pin 9 on the ECU. Red on the Non NATS version (it seems the ECU switches on earth) (I didn't bother tracing back to pin No on non NATS) G (Green?) from 25A fuse...

    PollyMobiles Rebuild

That would tie in, mine is running a fabricated (not by me) inlet manifold, I don't have an idea about how much power it gained but it's behaving itself, the MAF sensor we determined before tuning was the same item in the GA15 as the CG13 so if you were able to compare raw signal outputs from...

Allen bolt at the back of the TB

If I remember correctly it sort of sets the scope that the electronic Idle Air Control Valve IACV can work within, so closing it will force a lower idle, opening it will allow a higher idle to what the IACV will allow. No real effect on gas mileage unless it's not set properly I'd say.

    Correct way of wiring a rev counter to a '94 1.0L K11

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I'm talking about the distributor engine.

    Correct way of wiring a rev counter to a '94 1.0L K11

If you're using the return from the coil to the ECU I'd mentioned previously I'd join it back into that so it still returns to the ECU, it will run OK without but it throws a code related to ignition, I think branching off is OK too, if you trace it back towards the ECU you don't have to run...

    CG10 Performance Questions, Help Appreciated

I have little to no experience here but... Cams generally have the effect of moving the peak torque further up the rev range, we don't get CG10DEs here so I have no experience with them but if driving it around now and it won't rev high enough then there's a case for cams, if you want more...

    Correct way of wiring a rev counter to a '94 1.0L K11

What tacho have you got? is it a micra gauges with a tacho or is it an aftermarket tacho? If it's aftermarket then there's a return from the coil to the ECU that you want to wire into the tacho. From my wiring diagram it looks like it's light green / black. (both NATS / Non NATS)

    CG10 Performance Questions, Help Appreciated

To the best of my knowledge / if it were mine: No a SR20 manifold won't fit. A SR20DET probably more so as it will have provision for a turbo. CG13DE cams will fit in a CG10DE and are a known upgrade, many cams go to 9mm lift so it must either be enough or is limited by other things. The...

Rat Rod Rust Bucket K11 project

I like the rat rod thing, it suits me better than a shiny paint job and means I'm not as precious about my car as I would otherwise be (don't get wrong Spot (mini) is beautiful and I love her) but there is something of a story about it, sort of like Mater and his dints. That said Spot is an...

    K11 cg10 cr12 hybrid engine

I'm confused... Why not just use a CG13DE? (either the whole engine or the crank and rods). I understand keeping the same block particularly if it's been modified to suit the munga but you could reuse your CG10 block and pistons and get a nice increase in compression. I'm not sure where you...

I've done a video pointing at the speedo, so you can rewind and time from when the speedo starts moving. Time: 8 sec. (crappy old tires and lots of wheels spin, hopefully better now) Car: mini with a CG13DE. (weighs 630kg) Mods: Nistune, extractors, custom inlet manifold, GA15DE injectors and...
