Hi Quick question, what's the cheapest way to insure a 2nd K11?

I do think that headlights for urban use are becoming too powerful now. Amazing, how many people I see driving around (and there are streetlights), with lower driving lights on as well as headlights, like they preparing for the RAC rally forest stage!

I use Osram night breaker laser, they won't last as long, as usual Halogen H4's, though I am currently on 14 months use (I don't do a massive amount of night time driving just more winter time), but they are good, give a crisp glow, an easy win for better lighting and safe for K11 systems...

I got one of these for my K11 Micra, the stock photo is very deceptive, as to make mine fit the passenger seat, had to get the Dremel out to lengthen the adjustment channel, as my 2 stems slightly too wide for it.

Drivers door lock started becoming a bit notchy today and my passenger one never worked since someone rammed a screw driver into it. If I get a replacement passenger door lock, can this be re-jigged to my master key,as I don't want another key!

I know been discussed on here, not looking to butcher the dashboard, though anyone used the ones, which hook on the doors. I tried the ones, which click into the vents, didn't find them any good.

Does anyone do K11 plastic wheel arches lips? I have bad corrosion on 1 front lip arch (rest all ok), want to treat etc. I doubt I'll get the paintwork finish looking excellent, so looking at doing my best, curing the rust and fitting matt black wheel arch lips.

Many thanks, the bolts are in there, they just have no heads! I could just lift this straight out!

I know if something on the engine it's meant to be there! :rolleyes: Though my exhaust heatshield all the bolts have sheared off with heat & age, so nothing holding it place. Would this have a massive detrimental effect to the engine to run without it?

On my K11, I have no PAS, it's ok if I keep tyre pressures up into mid 30's psi region. Though just a question, would having alloy wheels over stock 13' steels, make the steering lighter?

Push fit. Independent rubber company in Devon, found them on the net and they sent through 3 samples, which might fit, 1 did, which installed. Time will tell if it stays in!

Does anyone have any recommendation for decent set of HT Leads. I used to have Prospark on until recently, think they were good and didn't really require changing, though I replaced them with Lucas ones and I have to say, I don't think they really doing it, certainly not pulling, as well. What...

Can any tell me what this part of the Radiator is? I seem to have a very small leak from this part and it's dripping down onto the fan, which sometimes is spraying the engine bay.

My rear windscreen rubber was looking a bit shabby. Nissan have deleted the part, so either breaker yard, which your buying old rubber or source something completely new and different. I opted for the latter! I didn't chuck it in hot water, just cleaned the area prior to install, about £15 for 4...

OK many thanks for the replies, I did the solder hack on my last TB (in situ) though, I accidently used the wrong solder (some gave it to me) and a few months later TB started getting worse again, I pried off the plate again and the board was rotten, turns out it was plumber flux! :rolleyes...

TBH, it's not a major issue at the moment (apart from I'll have to avoid that stretch now), apart from that it's ok!
