    auto fluid possible issue

This is what I use on my CVT's, Dexron 3. I am not sure if that is the same, as ns3 cvt fluid? Though it's always red.

K11 Micra Wet Floor Passenger Side

TBH all my CVT done that owned 3. I always thought it was switching gears from the DS cog to the D cog. Though they did this only once, like up to 25mph, then seemed like a change of gear, then runs smoothly from 20 to top speed, (max 80 for me if overtaking on Motorway), normal transaction of...

K11 Micra Wet Floor Passenger Side

I am not sure if you still have this issue. I had this on my old pre facelift, I never got to the bottom of it before the gearbox went and it went to scrap. However, I did clear a lot of crud out of the end box sections, which helped, you have to take away part of the plastic inner arch...

    New Member introduction

Welcome, That is one gem there. I can't believe how seriously good condition, that is also the colour and it's an Si! The K11 is a great car, very easy to work on yourself (depending upon the scale of what you doing).

K11 Idle control valve - How to clean

Hi All I want to clean out my Idle control valve (as in the photo), as getting bad idle from cold, (ok when warmed up). Is it a case of undoing the screws and rinsing with Brake cleaner and cleaning with a toothbrush? Anything, I have to watch for, IE gasket etc, do I have re-lube the O ring...

    What wheels sizes fit

If it's a 1.3, then it will still shift with PAS, tho other mods you can do ie exhaust (preface lift have 2 cats) & air induction, tho others be best placed to advise on that.

Not raining on your parade, just being practical!

    What wheels sizes fit

Nice look, though wider the wheels, you might want that PAS!

    Idle control Valve (prefacelift)

Hi All My cold start idle is getting a bit worse, lumpy running and sometimes fluctuating revs and a cut out, when it's warm much better, but get an occasional low idle and cut out. I want to take out and clean the ICV, is the procedure, air filter housing off, 2 screws (hopefully they come...

    PAS or Manual

Yeah, the non PAS ones much faster. Though, I gather not too difficult to fit, just require the parts. You can get good results from dent pullers, though in these instances the mechanicals (the low mileage), is what it is all about, so you got a nice buy there IMHO.

    PAS or Manual

I thought that Micra had PAS, you bought? My first K11 (went to scrap last June), that was a non PAS model, so can compare the 2 models to the PAS version, I have now. The non PAS K11 really spritely, as no drag on the drivetrain from the pump, it was certainly quicker than my PAS version...

5 Door or not 5 door... this is my question

Nice one, you can't go wrong with one with that low mileage! You could smarten the bodywork fairly cheaply, get paint code and touch up the bumper, suction puller for the dent, probably won't eliminate it completely, but could vastly reduce it. The door damage, run some of that door protector...
