Heavy vibration at the rear end

Ok so, for now i haven't got the time to check anything, but i think i found something new. I was driving home, quite sad honestly so i was going quite slow. I could sense some moving, but didn't think much about it, until i came to a traffic jam. At that point, going at like 20km/h (10-15mph)...

Heavy vibration at the rear end

MOT here in Spain only pics up on bearings if your wheel is already falling off, i actually passed MOT with 0 issues on paper, but with all four shocks busted and already having this issue, so it's just a joke here. I know that bearings aren't supposed to make determined sounds, and while...

Heavy vibration at the rear end

The issue is mostly basically going straight on the highway, 60-80 mph. On roads with turns and all that it's silent and very stable, i'm quite happy with that. All i know is that, it vibrates to pieces going straight, turns at slower speeds doesn't seem to do nothing, most turning i did at...

Heavy vibration at the rear end

I really didn't ever get a clear view on the rear stabilizer. I'll definetely look into all rubber back there, as there is a bunch of silentblocks up front that have seen better days in its 20 year lifespan. However, i should asume that something is VERY loose to cause this? Or can be a...

Heavy vibration at the rear end

Hello! I'm having some issues with my car, as the rear of the car vibrates a lot at speeds between 90 and 110Km/h. I was entirely convinced that the issue was the shock absorbers, as all four were leaking, and while i was at it, i also replaced springs for -30mm (H&R brand) so the car actually...

    Unstable cruising on my K11 1.3 16v

As far as i know i'm running whatever is on the data plate, but i might check it when i go to the gas station. Also when i lift the car i¡ll look into that too, but if it's true, i might think about the car as a money pit already...

    Unstable cruising on my K11 1.3 16v

Yeah, a wheel unbalance was the first thing i thought, but that issue arises at almost every car at 120km/h, so it has to be something else. Changing the wheel positions didn't seem to change anything, so i can discard a front wheel bent because the vibration is exactly the same. Anyway i'm...

    Maximum HP/Torque admissible by stock K11 1.3 16v gearbox

So it's safe to assume that 150hp are safe on the medium-long term... Wow that was a nasty sound there. You have pics or a post of about that gear?

    Maximum HP/Torque admissible by stock K11 1.3 16v gearbox

Yeah, that's something i should think about first, as i don't know **** about swaps. Probably some 1.6 engine would fare well for me to still have room around the engine, as i might have trouble fitting an SR20 in there. Or some random engine i might like, as i did the renesis. But still, this...

    Unstable cruising on my K11 1.3 16v

The issue here is that i need to spend 300€ more to legalize the lower suspension, as here the MOT (ITV) even measures the ride height and sets you home with an unpassed inspection if it's lower than it should. So yeah, 600€ on a 1200 car just to not crash into a barrier isn't exactly what i...

    Maximum HP/Torque admissible by stock K11 1.3 16v gearbox

Thanks for the info, I've never done something like it and don't really know what's more difficult. Also I've been told that the cg13 gearbox is so small that will be near impossible to fit a suitable clutch, so that goes there too.

    Unstable cruising on my K11 1.3 16v

On my case, i passed mot with around 60% effectivity on shock absorbers, so i've been looking on replacing them anyway, a set of four TRW OEM Spec geos for about 125€, so it wouldn't break the bank too much. Anyway, i did the bounce test quite a few times before because i kinda wanted to blame...

    Unstable cruising on my K11 1.3 16v

Supposedly wheel balance should be good, as it made exactly the same before tyre changing, and it's been like 1000km so tyres should be good. Tyres are 165/60 R14, the size that came stock with the car too with stock rims. I didn't know camber could be adjusted on this car, but the old tires...

    Unstable cruising on my K11 1.3 16v

Hi guys I have some issues on my lil K11, and those have to do probably with the suspension system, but i need your advice. I know this car isn't anywhere near a racecar, but i've noticed that around 90km/h, the car starts to vibrate a bit, steering wheel included, and from there the steering...

    Maximum HP/Torque admissible by stock K11 1.3 16v gearbox

Hello huys I'd want to know if there are tested limits for how much power can a 1.3 16v gearbox take, just on the curious side right now, because eventually i'd like to swap a k11 to a more powerful engine but the SR20 swap is kinda the standard swap for a K11 and i'd like to go a bit bonkers...

    The £80 Micra

Wait what i might look into that, how much would cost me redo my subwoofer box on carbon fibre? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Edit: Quite a lot, those sheets are 0.2mm thick, a 1mx1m sheet costs about 18 euros.

How much does those sheets run? I kinda want to play with it but i imagine it gets expensive quickly

    The £80 Micra

You might be able to use this cardboard model as a mold for another material like fiberglass. It's fairly cheap, but very toxic, so be sure you work on a ventilated environtment

    The £80 Micra

I swear this isn't any kind of joke or whatever, i'm 100% serious; My K11 subwoofer box is made out ofaround 4 rolls of kitchen paper, 1.5kg of glue, and some reinforcement foam. I truly believe you might be able to reinforce this to a point it can stand well. Fire hazard is another story tho...

    The £80 Micra

I mean, Peugeot used green housings for their blinkers, so you should be good lmao Also, LED lights allow for clear housings all the way, so i don't see an issue there. Didn't think about red bulbs though!
