Suspected fuel pump issue turned out to be something more sinister...stretched timing chain. Not economically viable to get it changed. farewell BlueSteel...it's been emotional.

car's (2000 K11 facelift) been running fine then this morning it wouldn't start. called RAC out. he reckons fuel pump is on the blink. he checked relay, checked wiring...all fine. only hums (2 secs) when key turns engine off. pump doesn't run when ignition turned on or cranked. is this a...
