Been a busy last week. Finally finished today. Just the tracking to do. Jobs done: New rear axle, two new handbrake cables, two new rear control arms ( had to order from Poland) & a new tyre. Also as you can see from photo her to local garage to get a full under anti rust undercoat. Mechanics...

Removed fuel tank so far so good no more bolts snapped haha. Got new bracket from scrappy yesterday aswell.

Well fitted new hand brake cables. New rear axle near fitted. Waiting on to control arms couldn't find anywhere that sold them had to buy two of eBay from Poland for £54 :( The cup that one of the arms sits in. Has give way and created a big hole were the bolt goes thru Does anyone live close...

Rear axle is out. The new one has been cleaned & treated with anti rust. Need new arms tho had to cut them out totally stuck in lol. Fingers crossed get parts later today

Axle going to cost about £40 I think by time I add fuel so full job be about £190 Is 1st face light axle same as 2nd face lift? There both 2000.

Sourced a axle out bit of a drive to pick it up tho. How much you guys reckon it will be to get fitted been priced £150 seems abit seep

Just done R/H wine bone and moved wheels around. Sadly I found hole in rear axle it's pass welding now been welded to much I think. Comes to the question I really don't want to scrap her. Does anyone in north west have a rear axle for sale and would be willing to fit as well?. I just don't...

Nope I never took them fully out lol. Just enough the get bush out. I think there only 12mm bolts you think a daft plumbing blow torcher will provide enough heat?

Found out that I need a new R/H Ball joint. Only fitted new arm last year :( The two bolts that go into the floor of the car were well tight last year. Had to use heat in case they snapped into the floor. I don't have any heat now as I've moved away. Do I risk doing it without heat :confused:
