F/S: 1.3 flywheel lightened and balanced (by me)

that sounds fun. would you be able to lighten one for me if i got it to you? i'd buy this one but my money's tied up until feb or so... i'd do it myself but the working diameter on my lathe is too small... by 50mm!

    Almera alloys?

195/50/15 are 14mm bigger diameter than 155/65/13. its not an issue at all. yes you lose some acceleration, but the corner speed is fantastic.

    4wd ideas?

no i dont plan for a 4x4 diesel. its only an idea at this stage though eh?! yeah ive seen loads of people get bored of projects and end up scrapping the car. just dont want people to scrap micras haha! you dont wanna spend loads of time and money to end up with a selection of sorted scrap...

    4wd ideas?

look, i gave a reasonable answer to a reasonable question. people are throwing silly-money projects in as "fun to do" ideas. turboing a cg13 is sensible,, because its fairly cost effective and gives good results. a silly thing to do is where you spend too much money and end up with either no...

    4wd ideas?

the option seems simple to me. put up with the pain in the ass of snow chains. its loads less effort than re-bodying a subaru justy. the justy is the closest option, as the wheelbase and track WILL fit within the arches on a micra.

    Best induction placement???

theres rumblings from both sides of the fence here......! yes cold air means its more dense and therefore more oxygen to burn.... good thing but..... cold air will cool the fuel as well, reducing the atomisation of the fuel, making the burn worse........ bad thing yes having an airbox means...

    Few basic questions

coil-over plug or individual coil per cylinder type like yours are just a more modern design. your design has 4 coils to create HT electricity. each one sorts one cylinder out. an earlier micra has a distributor and a single coil. the charge gets distributed to the correct cylinder. the...

genius Frank nice one haha! ive got a pair of CV joints to do at the weekend. new steering arms as well, so i may well get to the g/box mount as well! ive got about a 50mm drop at the moment, so how far do you think i'd have to lift the mount? i was thinking (as i have a decent lathe and a toy...
