    i did this style side exit on my last micra. followed the std exhaust along past the bend after the mid silencer, then carried straight on out the side of the car from there. i failed MOT because i was plowing exhaust gas onto my back wheel......... i failed on lots of other things as well though!

    Group B rally used to run superturbs through carbs. the pressurised fuel/air mix is why they went bang so often! im not trying to stop you though, its a great idea! just dont run fuel/boost pressures as high as group B..... but that probably goes without saying haha!

    think you need to make them relative to eachother Frank! have Ex1 the same capacity as C1, then Ex3 is 2C1, Ex4 is 4C1 and Ex2 is 8C1. in theory the bangs will resonate with eachother on their joint tones (at 2, 4 and 8 revolutions), hopefully giving lots of nice "BURBLE"!

    yeah it'd definitely help! you need them adustable on a cam which turns to max lift based on revs. match it with a similar system on the intake and you're onto a winner. Aprillia do it on their 1000cc superbikes, and claim a 10bhp loss throughout the revs without it. they extend by up to 50mm.

    so ive read all through this because im building a high comp as well. can you not just use a facelift 1.3 clutch? i plan on using a facelift 1L gearbox, and i cant see why a 180mm clutch shouldnt stand up to the abuse.
