Upgrades

It's not really 'tricking' it. By pinching the return line, you're doing the exact same thing the fuel reg is meant to be doing - keeping a certain pressure in the rail. The pressure to the rail has increased because even though the stock reg has reached it's 3-bar (~45PSI) limit, the kink is...

    Blue Monster

From memory I believe it was sold to Domedeli, a member of this site who owned a Silver Super-S however I don't believe he was a regular poster. No idea where it'd be now. It was also on eBay and maybe even Carsales a couple of years ago also. See domedeli's FS thread <a...

Don't push your ignition timing too much !!!

...why did you start at 42 degrees BTDC? No wonder it was knocking/pinging! Are you trying to say that you started with someone else's tuned ignition map as a base? I recently go told that if you can hear knocking by ear without any special tools (<a...

    Introduction

Hi Ninpo! Welcome to the forums. Sorry to hear you're having troubles with your first Micra. Once you get that sorted hopefully it'll be more reliable for you. The door handles and overflow bottle are known for being brittle so that's not so surprising but hopefully you can find replacements...

FS: Flares, Fuel Pump, Extractors, HIDs and more!

The HIDs are indeed H4. Forgot to mention - they're dual beam - they've got Halogens for the High-beams but the HIDs give a brighter beam than the halogen high-beams do. They're good if you want to look inconspicuous going past a police car though ;) muncher: Replied to your PM. ---dens

FS: Flares, Fuel Pump, Extractors, HIDs and more!

FRP Fibreglass Flares Imported these from Japan a few years back and they’ve just been sitting under the house, wrapped up, never used. They are brand new and have never been fitted to a car. They’re gel coated in white, ready to be painted or used as-is :) Also comes with a rubber...

NDSOC Nationals. Easter weekend 2013 Phillip island GP circuit.

If my car's finished I might come along as a spectactor. Not pushing my luck with having a motorkhana on the previous weekend ;) Would be good to see you mate - it's been a while! ---dens

    cluster!

Keep in mind that LEDs are polarised - you need to get them the right way around or they won't work - try flipping the polarity of the LED in the plug (or even flip the plug?) and put it back and see if it makes a difference. I was doing this last night in fact and had to do it a couple of times...

    Front door speaker size

I mounted 6.5's (Jaycar 'Response' Splits) in the doors of my Series 1 LX and needed to space them out from the original mounts by ~10mm. Was able to modify the original grill to accommodate the new speakers but I'd say it isn't going to be a bolt-in affair for you. ---dens

    Hewland dog box For Sale

Please don't create multiple threads for the same item. You should get plenty of exposure through the front page. You can bump this to the front page of the website every couple of days so you get more people to look at it, but please don't bump it too often (i.e. more than once every couple of...

    Wheels!

More like: Everyone get's frank2 to do them for their K11's ;) I looked into custom steelies about ~5 years ago though never followed through with it. I was told that ROH might be able to provide hoops or do the job. Realistically you could probably take a set in to someone who knows how to...

[VIC] Urgent Needed: Stock Cat Converter

They're useful if you're attempting to return the car to standard though in your case but having 4 would be rather useless. Trade them in! :P Dan, I think I'll take you up on the offer so a PM will be coming your way shortly. ---dens

[VIC] Urgent Needed: Stock Cat Converter

Hey Dan, That's awesome, thanks for the offer. Because of the hassle for you to post, I'll hold off for now like you suggest and will hopefully find something locally. Hoping to get it before fridayfor a drive over to Adelaide. I'm hoping I don't need to put my extractors and other system back...
