Try refilling it quarter or half a tank to avoid the neck leaking down. Also refuel it slowly controlling the fuel nozzle to reduce the necks propensity to leak when refuelling. Get a firm fixed price quote as garage costs may render the repair uneconomical. Good luck! ;)

Have you tried the few drops of fuel on the air filter in a non-start situation as Frank suggests & also checked the chain tensioner run out? Apart from intermittent PSU wiring/plug/socket corroded connections, the following well documented common K12 faults may give rise to non-start issues...
