Hello small update, fitted bonnet pins to the boot, mainly so i can fit a padlock through them when i leave the car. Also fitted super s spoiler thanks to Shero for this. A couple of pics.

Just to let you know i ordered some FL1 from paints 4u. Its a perfect match (Y) great service too, said it would be here within 3-4 days, arrived next day.

I had a similar problem. I took the TB off and behind an aluminum cover there is a chip board, there was dry joints, so i soldered in wire links, now runs fine no problem.

I cant remember the exact name, but i think it maybe along the lines of 'pearl green'? dont quote me on that though. If you do find some please let me know ive been looking for the same colour match for a while with no luck :o

Forgot to mention there is a rally show on this weekend in Chesterfield well worth a look for info etc. Also maybe worth having a look at www.formula1000.co.uk a championship for 1000cc rally cars and probably the cheapest way to start.

Hi Scott As been said above your local motor club is a good place to start and autotests are great fun (and there cheap :p) I would recommend visiting a rallyschool, they will teach you the basics and it gives you a chance to see if you like it or not. I see your in Bradford the closest...

It is worth doing the amount of weight you save, id say it only starts to flap at about 60mph its not alot but enough for you to notice it if that makes sense. Mine is fixed with 2 bonnet pins and tbh it could do with one in the middle too just to keep the middle from flapping. I have seen a few...

Mine is done, it does flap a bit at higher speeds.
