cool, this is mine, http://www.micra.org.uk/threads/46537-K11-rally built to the spec you are looking at, if you need any hints/ pics on where things go etc give us a shout!
Look forward to some pics.
Why do you need to get rid of nats? Some people have a starter button and strap the key near the transponder. Good luck with the build, what spec are you building?
Nope dont think so who are they?
Think your right Frank by the time the cage is in i doubt it will be much lighter than a std version although the seats are lighter etc so im not sure, Im going to get it on a weigh bridge at some point to see, although new regs state the car cant weigh less...
The cars built to f1000 rules , the usual msa safety bits,, SD cage, cobra seats, comp exhaust system, sump & tank guards, etc etc. I will try add a more detailed spec at some point, couple more pics of inside,
Thanks.
My micra has vented front discs, can you get these specifically for a micra?, or are they likely to be from another car. With this in mind are the calipers likely to be non standard too? or will std calipers fit with vented discs, i cant compare cause i dont have a set of std discs.
thanks in...
I've just bought a facelift 1000cc and having previously had a 1ltr pre facelift, the difference in fuel consumption is shocking, im getting about 30mpg with this new one, which is terrible compared to my old one.
May need to look into this further..
The omp cages are not allowed to be used in stage rally cars now. This is because of the twin bend in the front legs, however the msa have bought out a ruling to fix this problem which means you can fit an extra strenghten bar either side of the front legs, doing this would make the cage 'legal'...
Thanks for replies, think your right dont think i have ever seen a faded red micra, which is good!! going to invest in a decent quality wax and give it a good waxing every few weeks should keep on top of it :grinning:
Does anyone have any advice on how to look after red paint to stop it from fading and going pink? Are nissans known for this?? seems to be that vauxhalls are quite bad for it just wondered if anyone had any tips or any recommendations on a certain polish etc that would help stop it.
Thanks.
