Replaced some clips on the grill and re-fitted it, hoping it would stay on better than before, but unfortunately not :( It's still a little loose and when I push one side on the other side pops back off..

Can anyone help with this please? I've fitted new clips to the grill today but when fitting it, it's still a bit loose and when I push one side on the other side pops back out/off :/ Is there meant to be anything to hold it on at each end, onto the edge of the wing/under the headlights?

I think those ones were 16" iirc, but as said above they're the normal Rota Grids

Nothing, I just took it off to look at what shape clips I needed for it to buy new ones :) It's been a bit loose at one end for a while after one clip decided to play hide 'n' seek before (it's still playing)

Accidentally dropped a drink in the car, so gave the carpet & mats a good cleaning. Also made myself a quick makeshift grill, out of the finest cardboard fibre :p

Has anyone got any photos of the back of a pre-facelift grill? (I'm guessing it's pretty much the same as my G# grill with the 7 plastic clips..) Or if not, anyone know if there's meant to be any clips or anything that holds it on at the edges (under the headlight/indicators) as mine is a bit...

When I took the fuel unit out a few months ago it looked the same as a spare one i've got, so i'll give it a go and see if it works Also I had a friend look at it tonight and they suggested changing the distributor/rotor arm, could this be a cause of the problem?

That is quite a lot of fails, but surely some of them would have been obvious that they weren't going to pass, especially having a smashed wing wirror and a nail in your tyre.. The amount it could cost to get them all fixed, he might be better off scrapping it and getting another car.

I've taken mine out before and it looked pretty much the same as other pre-facelift ones, and i've heard that skyline gts pumps will fit as well

You could go the DIY route and get some Corsa & Polo coilovers and modify them to fit or there's Micra specific FK Highsport & BC Racing ones.

As far as I know, nothing to do with the ignition has been changed. The engine and gearbox mounts were changed not that long ago so they're in good condition. I've got a spare fuel pump, so i'll change that to see if it makes a difference. All K11 pumps are the same aren't they?

What size tyres are you getting for them? I only paid £100 for 4 on mine..

The clue is in the title really, 35mm. Although you can get micra coilovers for less, and still have enough left for an adjustable panhard rod :)

Yeah that's right, wheels with an offset of et38 will poke out 2mm more than wheels with an offset of et40, although you wouldn't really notice a 2mm difference
