I did this last week to mine, but not as bad lol. I use a copper mallet holding a dolly on the other side :)

Thanks Calum, I just say I got very very lucky with my rear recess. And its not a direct fit to a UK boot. But when does anything fit a micra :)

Came back off holiday, feeling down that I'm in the UK with horrible weather compared to 30degrees plus everyday for 2weeks.! Started my car after sitting for 2weeks, fired up first time :).. Until reality hit the day after one my way back from work and I broke down.. I checked obvious signs...

The creamy 'gunk' you get underneath the oil cap is condensation of water..the oil emulsifies. This is due to short journeys :). On the other hand it is plausible for head gasket, but are very many more symptoms.

Found the cause. It will need a new fuel pump. Had a fuse saver tried ignition on with fuel plugs disconnected and didn't trip, this meaning I've eliminated relay and wiring. And then tried with plugs connected and it blew the fuse. So tomorrow it's a new pump :)

Do you know where the relay is located?

Came home from work and had loss of power and car stalled. Pin pointed it to the 15A fuel pump fuse. Replaced it for another one and blew instantly when I switched ignition on. So I guess my fuel pump is shorting... Can anyone shed some light as to previous experiences or how to fix. :/

Not much has happpened recently to the Stormtrooper.. car tax just been renewed Mot due next month.. But on the other hand im off too Tunisia for 2 weeks.today. Will talk when I'm back MSC..:D
