Sounds like the breather hose area, probably nothing to worry about. Get the oil changed if its looking in poor condition.

Just keep the oil in good condition, and its floor will rust threw before your engine gives up

Im pretty sure that a turbo from a diesel would not work well at all on a petrol car. All the turbo conversions ive seen, have alot more and alot better pipe work. Complete shambles
