my 10 started off with the 4 speed which seems quicker than the 5 speed long ratio i had afterwards i find (on a ma10) the long ratio 5 isnt much good yes its uber quiet at higher speeds but constantly changing down gears when wanting to accelerate or an incline. im now running the 5 speed short...

well getting there slowly got some lowering springs, front kyb shocks , rear arb and super s steering wheel and clocks to fit. was going to do the front suspension today but due to a heavy night didnt start till 3. tried a new battery on it today and started up was great to have it running again...

just wondering the door hinge is knarkered on the project micra so wondering if 5 door door pins are the same as 3 door if so ill pull a door off the donor micra. also how do you get the pins/hats out and is it easiest to remove door completely and do it that way? thanks.

ive been thinking the same recently modding a k10s getting harder and harder as parts become less avaliable :(

The carb on yours has a air fuel ratio solenoid controlled by the ecu that makes the mixture richer/leaner ;)

whats the difference between the k10 and k11 wishbones ? also are the k11 brakes worth swapping to or would almera brakes be better?

well another update exhausts fitted along with dizzy wiring repaired all set to try it but the battery was well and truely dead even connected up to the nova via jump leads the battery read a lowly 11-10v . hopefully the battery out the red micra will be better and should be running sunday...

right been a while since an update progress has been slow due to me being adament that we could move/ lift the engine and gearbox by hand proved a little tricky. anyway as pictures show been busy cut the front of the micred donor to get it all out then over to the micrap to put it in started...

hi mate the laquers peeled on it so will need a respray but its yours for 15 + postage also got a white debadged grill that needs a respray.

slowly getting there got the engine out sunday managed to drop it out the bottom and slide it out through the arch, inspection with a torch down the ports showed exhaust valve on no.4 cyl only partially sealed shut and no.1 completely off the valve seat and all four inlets where bent open :S...
