I've got the plug out of the back of the ignition barrel :D there are only 5 wires to test so its narrowed wayyyy down, so far ive only managed to accidentally bridge the wire that honked the horn :confused:

Nahh, Isle Of Man. What sort of things should I be looking for in general when checking the driveshafts and bushings? Just loose fittings and wobble or more serious things like cracking or breaks?

Sometimes when I apply the brake, the brake pedal pops down to the floor as if pushing the pedal through a series of small bubbles rather than depressing slowly. Is this normal or does something need oiling or could it even be air in the brakelines?

Sounds mad. As a noob who hasn't done an engine transplant before but knows his way around a car, how difficult would you say it was to swap the engine? Obviously I'd need to source an engine crane and some friends to help me take it apart and then move the engine so that it didn't completely...
