Yea not sure what age the pump was from but it wasn't the same as the PAS pump that would have been on the car if it had been fitted from the factory, as the belt was a different length to the listed one for it.

Its not too difficult, changing the rack was the most fiddly bit for me on my old SR, and finding the right length belt was a bit of a problem.

I'm back to the world of Micra Ownership! Tonight I picked up the 5th Micra I've owned, a 1997 Blue SR. Not many pics yet just the ones from the advert and a couple of dark ones when I was just unloading it. Its quite rough round the edges but I can complain for £240 with a few months test left.
