    Skinners Sprint Micra

Very nice. is the dust boot sitting a bit wonky on top of the treaded part though?

    micra number 2

Tastefully done. I do like a nardi wheel, and the wheels seem to suit the car quite well too.

Side view better, I'll agree. K13 is a nice looking car too. I've had a good look round an i3 and it's quite cool. Tyres like that will only become more common as hybrid cars gain traction (pun intended) in the market.

    Buying a K11 and Lowering

A couple of days of penetrating oil and a 600mm breaker bar got my panhard rod done in half an hour. I definitely needed it on my 50mm springs.

Those wheels are far too big for the car imo. Really low profile tyres are all very well but they would end up being almost all sidewall. But saying that it might not be too far off. As cars get lighter and wheels get bigger it might not be long before we see 195/xxR20. Fair play for wanting...

    Coilover fittin for K11

You need to know the answer to this because fitting coilovers made for a Micra is a different thing to fitting coilovers that are adapted for a Micra. Iirc @h701micra will advise and supply suitable springs for what you want to do with the car, if you're worried about it being too stiff.

New User - Need some advice!

If you want a k11 and you're not too bothered about the engine size get whatever is in the best condition for your budget (check sills and front crossmember and everywhere else for rust, check engine for chain rattle and you're good to go). A 1.3 / 1.4 cruises better than a 1.0. If you want...

    Jenvey Throttle bodies (ITB's)

Suzuki GSXR 600 / 750 / 900 are popular becasue they can be re-spaced to suit the mani flange.

    Universal eco mode

A lot of people I know with newer cars turn the start -stop off, and I think I'd do the same for reasons of prolonging engine life. I'd be a bit wary of a universal one, if such a thing exists, because the factory ones take into account so many factors when deciding whether to switch off...

My tyres have changed size !

Yep, it's a basic check to make sure that the tyres are a) right for the car according to the manufacturer and b) suitable for operation alongside any existing tyres. It's poor form from the garage.

    Belly93 new daily

My brother's got a new 390 and it's a lovely bike. He had a 600 fazer for years and he reckons the Duke is all the bike he'll ever need.

    Dan's omniMicra

A little update for the biggest changes so far. First off, mk 1 golf splitter (not the gti duckbill type). Not seen one of these on a k11 before. I quite like it but I imagine it's not to everyone's taste. Next up was a replica group a airbox. This was someone else's project which I finished...

    Catch Tank ----------------------

Thanks pollyp. Yes I've just gone over what I wrote in my head and realised why that was a silly question  (#8 lets clean air IN, not combustion gases out.) I was about to edit it and realised you'd got there first. So I think I just need to provide clean air in on #8 and job done.

    Catch Tank ----------------------

I have been away and missed the fun of this thread first time round, but it got me thinking so humour me: I am going to put in a group a airbox so I need to do something with the outlet on the cam cover that goes to the factory air box. I had planned to route it to atmosphere via a catch tank...

    On/off throttle feeling

I get this too. It's like the first 2 or 3mm of throttle travel after taking up the lash do nothing, then it suddenly comes in. Might just be that the cable needs adjusting perhaps.

    Coil pack 1.0l cams swap?

The dizzy cam has a slot on the exhaust cam to drive the dizzy. It won't do anything on a coilpack, but it won't harm either. You can get aftermarket cams which fit both coilpack and dizzy so I would be pretty certain you'll be OK. By all means wiat for someone else to chip in before you splash...
