Kiwi K11s. Car number five. SCUTTLE SHAKE !

Sweet! It won't be hard for you to put a Ga16DE in to it and Sr20, if you know how to shorten axles properly that is some quite advanced work but 143hp. Front brakes can be transfered too with both

    Another Water Drainage Thread

If the sunroof is leaking you will notice on the roof finnish and if it is the blower motor just one side of the carpet stays wet.

    Random beeping noise

My other Nissan from same era has a red light on the abs computer. It flashes error codes, I expect every abs computer has a flashing led if something is amiss.

I never had a car with a sunroof but I read and hear those can leak at the rubber with aging. For the blower motor I assume it is on the left side on a RHD, I have LHD and it is on the right. It can leak there, would you like to hear about it?

Advice on buying k11 learner car with issues

I had lots of issues but the rust is the first to consider not having that and second is in what shape the engine is. The first becomes not only costly but welding it up for a year MOT means there are other places going bad and therefore require preventive steps. The engine, well you can use...

Heavy vibration at the rear end

Yeah it shouldn't be that way. It may cost money but those balancing prices are flat. That you happen to have a rim with something going on, they should try to fix that for the same price. This is because people that want balanced their wheels can't help it if something is wrong with the wheel...

Heavy vibration at the rear end

Yes I wrote 45 and 90 but that should be 90 or 180. I think it is the tyre and rim combination. And the whole explanation because I know there are tyre mechanics that are good mechanics but miss the big picture. Just rebalaning them doesn't necessarily make the problem go away and then it should...

Heavy vibration at the rear end

75g means something wrong. With such light rims you can't go above 50. That is a rule of thumb though. I've had some quite new stock rims (as a tyre mechanic) requiring 125g. Customers didn't come back so it must be went okay ;) Trick is to put air out of tyre, rotate tyre 45 or 90 degrees and...

    Richardwbb's 1993 Super S LHD sleeper.

Stud problem still there. Now I learned that welding cast iron airtite is not easy doable. For the broken stud removal I need to choose for welding a nut on or drill it out. And there are six more studs where I only can hope they don't break. The engine runs as rich as it can be and with my...

how similar are facelifts to pre-facelifts under the skin?...

Well someone has a wiring issue but you keep engine loom with engine? And how is it going, I suspected you should be really far by now if time allows you :) It's bolt on

    Nissan March/Micra 1.0 to 1.3 Conversion Problem

Just check wiring from dizzy connector to ecu? Not that it is easy practically but theoritcally measuring this is. Or I don't get it what is going on what might be the case. I loomed a Ga16 to Cg13. But engine loom has to be talking properly with the rest in the Micra itself. I hope this message...

Heavy vibration at the rear end

I am aware that I not really reply to what you wrote with what I write now but after replacing shockies for new ones all good. Then I decided to loosen and fasten the rears with those silly long heavy threads under those caps in the trunk. Now rear right has developed a boink sound in corners...

    New Member introduction

Wow. I believed (not really )my dealer where I attemtped to order fidly bits (succeeded sometimes) they actually once said that what I ordered costed more of their time then to make money. Like 3 coin studs or 2 coin bolts. They also said once the old computer was gone so no old software to...

Heavy vibration at the rear end

Ah yes bearings is something you might expect. To your description of the noise problem it just doesn't sound to me it is that but it is a replaceable parts that tends to go by mileage. You know how to check bearings for MOT?

Heavy vibration at the rear end

No I can not be sure it can boink hard and look sound. Be aware some bolts might break before you decide to give it a thorough bolting job. Perhaps the field service manual will give you some insights on what to look for. If you have this sound both steering left and right I would look for...
