Did you adjust handbrake and started with those clicky thingies behind the drums to make handbrake pull even? That sorts out most of it. Never saw a egg shaped drum though but the rest of the system is more likely to be responsible. Nissan FSM should help for measuring but I hardly see why

Recheck all connectors had a failing one (six pin below distributor, not necessarily what you have there) intermittent starts, full bog, android torch 5 minutes not longer a problem and that connector did click the first time

Yes, when you get a k11 be sure it has no rust and if it is welded that the inner side of the welding are also rustbusted. Don't but a k11 with much cosmetic damage and try to make sure that you are not buying a sellers k11 pain for a too high price.
