Has anyone had any experience with getting K12 engine management or electronic automatic transmission control remapped or adjusted for performance/power increases? Particularly interested in experiences with 1.4 autos, if anyone has had any work in these areas done. Comments experiences appreciated.

I've seen a few 2002 1240 cc Autos here in New Zealand, perhaps he's referring to those?

If battery was in a discharged state for one month it may have become sulphated and charging won't fix that, you may simply need a new battery, see if you can swap a battery from one of your other cars to test. My battery died the other week it still had enough power to operate the door openers...

FFYI, my 1.4 has child proof manual lock mechanisims on rear doors ( sliding levers inside door frames) sounds obvious but might be worth checking :)

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery again then re enter the code

Sometimes an incorrect bulb tye can cause havoc with electrics, suggest check all recently changed bulbs for correct types

Only the obvious.....ask nissan how they managed to start the car! if they have bypassed the key system then the key system must be the problem

My old K11 1997 used to do this occassionally, fault was traced to faulty mass air flow meter, I don't know if same would apply to K12. If purchased from a dealer I'd get backl there quick smart and negotiate repair at their cost

Suggest google 'tyre size calculator' there are many programs on web for calculating increased tyre size effect on speedo reading etc

My Automatic, had similar vibration problen at take off (especially whith cold engine); turned out to be the front pully (new seal and pully required as old pully was damaged)
