Ok,well immediately your bound to get the slates for k12 and chain issues. Ive owned mine for about 7/8 years. Its a 54 plate 1.0l e model,now over 100k. Ive had the cam and crank sensor fail,about £15 each to buy new,other than that,no issues whatsover regarding chain. Keep oil changed...

Firstly check the immobiliser fuse in the dashboard fuses,if that is hasnt blown,put key in ignition,turn to position 2,switch off stereo and anything else that could drain battery. Leave the key there in that position for about 30mins. Turn key to off then try to start the engine.

The sensor is located on the bonnet slam panel,behind the front bumper,next to the horn. The digital display should work fine fromba uk spec to north euro spec.

Had a rattle from mine from same area,if you run engine get down in floor in front the car and with a towel or thick gloves,grab the exhaust after the cat,pull the heat shield that wraps around it down so its firm against the pipe,and i expect the rattle will stop. If its that,nothing needs...

Also try with imboliser key/card in the car,turn the key to possition 1 for about half hour,then turn key to off and try starting car then. That's incase its an immobiliser glitch. Which happened to mine earlier this yr.

If its a 5 door,there is also a child safety lock feature on the rear door itself. Open the rear door,on the same side of the door as the rear handles,where the door meets the rear wing is a small latch in black that says lock on it,push it down to activate child safety,and will not switch off...

Theres a door lock switch by the handbrake lever. Have you tried pressing that when car is started,should lock all doors.

Dont attempt led change,I did an blew the combimeter illumination altogether!! They shouldnt be dim tho,and no dimmer switch that i know of.

Yeh they all have same fit. Headlights are a pain to change,just a forewarn,but with wings and bumper off they should be a doddle.

They are identical,pretty sure even the dci is the same. Not 100% on the dci though. The only difference in the 1.0,1.2 and 1.4 engines are the bore and stroke. Other than that,all parts are identical.

I have both manual mirrors :)

It was a chance find on ebay. Ask a nissan dealer,as it's a nissan bodykit specially designed for the k12 :)

Isnt vital,mines only just holding on with one bolt now,the other 3 sheared off. Think few ppl have them missing and dont bother replacing without any harm

Is the round thing where the motor would go just a blank? I didnt put my motors back in as thought they were cheap manual adjust replacements. Does this mean i can refit the motors?

No sidelights as in sidelights lol

Im convinced mine worked with the sides. If all lights were off and turned just the rear fog light,it turned the main light to side lights automatically :s

Anyone be able to shed some light on my rear fog issue. It works on dipped and main beam,but not with sidelights. Could it be a fuse or something? Thanks in advance.
