So basically the weather has been to rotten lately I havent had a chance to look, but what I want to know is does my 2002 coilpack have a second silencer/cat that is removable without chopping it out? Ideally I'd like to replace it with a straight through bolt in pipe if such a thing exists?

Nah sadly haven't had much time to do much with the car lately. Most I've done is cover the parcel shelf in the same marvel material as the doors, my spoiler got snapped off so have reattached that too. Swapped back to my steelies as they have decent tyres still and my set on the alloys are...

Did a full antifreeze flush and changed my washer fluid from plain water to ready mix stuff from halfrauds, preparing for the cold times ahead [emoji4]

All these figures make me think some things wrong with mine....I only get 38mpg, never tried driving easy for a full tank though and do a lot of stop start city driving in traffic...

I only ever get about 240miles to a brimmed tank. Mines a 1l tho I think the 1.3/1.4 get slightly better economy

That's a great idea actually, although I dislike the thought of tampering with the original wiring, in case I ever want to return it to standard.... Really want a sr spoiler now to finish off the back of the car but just can't get my hands on one!

Fitted my new LED rear lights today with the help of my trusty multimeter. Because as it would turn out, even though I have a facelift, they weren't straight plug and play! Gotta say I'm happy with how they look, update the looks a fair bit! Just need a red fog bulb now...
