    Micra K12 Android Head Unit

Ditch the cage. I did when I did the same thing. I made a set of brackets for mine that pick up the mountingbhiles for the cage.. As long as ot fits in the hole you can make brackets from bits of ali strap. I have a 3d printed so I printed mine.

Radio replacement - can it be done with the driver comp (total micra newbie)?

Yes comp can be removed. Don't go near Halfords. Find a real radio place if you can't do it yourself. If you are going for a screen, You will need to find a double din dash surround on ebay There are some from China available new but they aren't direct replacements and need some modifying...

    Noisy central locking

Open door. 2 big bolts that hold the catch. Undo partially and push the catch back. Though down though the catch hole and you'll see a pin sticking out. It shouldn't be. Use a tyre lever to push it back in. Do up the bolts and have silent locking again. There's a few posts on here about it...

    Wiper Arms Loose

Jb weld is overkill and as you say, will stick it permantly. With something like 638 you will have a fair bit of time to fix them in place and the bond can still be broken with a wiper puller. Adding a bit of heat with a hair dryer will also break the bond. They are meant to be a taper seat so...

    Wiper Arms Loose

There is no thread on the wiper arm. If you mean the knurl inside, clean it before refitting, that doesn't work use some shim stock (thin metal) or some bonding loctite something like 638 when installing the arms.

    Indicator bulb warning detector circuit

There is no bulb fail detect circuit. There is no canbus on a k12 that connects to the lights in that way. The relay works on the amps drawn from 3 bulbs (about 1.2 amps) , when one bulb goes out the amps drawn goes down and the lights flash quicker. (There's a bit more behind this as it's to do...

    MOT Advisory Questions

Rear spring corroded isn't worth dealing with, it will never be a fail until one snaps. Isn't technically an advisory, but some places put it as its an easy job they can charge for money for. Brakes, do as suggested. Soon. New fluid and a seal service won't go a miss. Ball joint, service...
