    Lowering micra and painting steelys

This. Though you could start with two, just make sure that they are still captive on full drop, or you have solved that issue another way.

Is there a UKDM scene in Japan?

There's a massive USDM scene, with whole front end swaps and the like to bring JDM cars up to USDM spec. Have a mooch through these galleries: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ka_ry/sets/72157643150140844/ Saabaru here is a prime example. UK influence is mainly classic, but can also be seen...

So Today I Lowered my Car...

The obvious solution to this problem is to lop a few coils off the front. More seriously, are you releasing the top shock mounts so that the axle can drop? I'm sure that the stockers can pretty much just be levered out, though it's a long time since I have handled a full length one (fnar).

    Wheel wobble.

Have you tried taking the wheel off, rotating in 90 Degrees on the studs and re fitting, tighten off the ground, each stud a little working in opposites, once it's as tight as you can get it in the air, lower back onto the ground for the final tweek.

    Mark's 1.0L

Went to Simply Japanese at Beaulieu today. I only spotted one other Micra there, but it was in outstanding company. The other one, And a snap from the way back home through the forest.

    Mark's 1.0L

Annoyingly quiet McMicra. They're pretty unique the multi spoke ones, though a search for alpina might yield something similar once you have waded through the modern stuff.

what did you do to your micra today ?

It's pretty irrelevant, the stub axles are welded to the beam, those bolts just mount the brake hardware. Or have I got entirely the wrong end of the stick about what you guys are on about?

Ahh, I know who you mean now, Carl popped up in "The fun you can have with a big lathe" showing off some of his wares. This is the pic I tried to post further up: Which fairly obviously becomes.... And a couple of non-facebook compressed pics, shonkey old phone cam anyway so they are...

    Mark's 1.0L

Went at the wheels with some gold paint a couple off days ago, Which then went on to inspire an Advan livery themed photo shop. I don't know if I'll end up going that radical, but there'll be some more gold along the way somewhere, possibly just the diagonal stripe in vinyl, or maybe the roof.

    Retrofit Fuel Cap

Fitting the fuel flap and catch is easy, fitting the cable and release leaver is a little more involved - it requires the interior out, time heavy but not particularly tricky. Mine is released from inside the boot. Which is a bit of a pain, but better than having a lock on the filler flap. The...

    Mark's 1.0L

Exciting stuff! Just replaced the lighter with a twin usb power socket! Yeah, I know it's wonky. I just couldn't get it to move once I'd shoved it in the original lighter hole. Touched in round the rims too where a lot of white could be seen between the tyre and rim, so the wheels look...
